The Toda Institute for Global Peace and Policy was founded by Daisaku Ikeda, pupil of Josei Toda, on the 96th anniversary of his birth - February 11, 1996.

Toda Institute has served the principles of protection of all human life, safeguarding all of the natural environment, and harmonious development of all human communities, for which Josei Toda stood.
